Is Flavor Plate easy to use?

We like to think so, and we're even willing to guarantee it. Try us for 60 days. If you don’t think Flavor Plate is the easiest restaurant website builder you’ve ever used, and you’d like to cancel your service, we’ll refund your monthly subscription.

Are Flavor Plate websites accessible and ADA compliant?

When you sign up for a Flavor Plate account, you’ll be provided with a website template that has been thoroughly tested for Level AA Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance—as recommended by the Web Consortium for Accessibility Guidelines. Can I use my own domain name (i.e. web address)?

Yes. By default, your Flavor Plate trial website will start as a sub-domain (ex. myrestaurant.flavorplate.com). You can continue using this sub-domain if you like, but more than likely, you’ll want to use your own domain name (ex. www.myrestaurant.com). If you already have one, you’re all set. If you don’t have a domain name yet, you’ll need to purchase one through a domain name registrar (examples listed below). Once you have your domain name, simply contact us and we’ll help you get it connected to your new site.

How do I accept payments for Online Ordering and Gift Cards?

Flavor Plate seamlessly integrates with Stripe for accepting payments directly to your bank account. Simply sign up for an account with Stripe through your Flavor Plate admin, and begin accepting payments within minutes. Stripe charges a standard credit card processing fee of 2.9% + 30 cents per successful charge. Learn more about Stripe at www.stripe.com.

Does Flavor Plate support multiple languages?

Our platform is currently available in English, only. Please check back as we are continually expanding our capabilities.

Is a mobile website included?

Yes. Every Flavor Plate website is responsively designed—assuring you that your website is optimized for all devices (desktop computers, tablets, smartphones, and everything in between).

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Our pricing and options are all listed on our Pricing page. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What happens when my 14-day trial account expires?

When approaching the end your 14-day trial, you will receive a reminder email. To continue your service, simply log into Flavor Plate, click on the Account tab, and enter your credit card information on our secure server. If you elect not to subscribe to Flavor Plate, your site will be turned off. Your trial site will be saved for approximately 30 days and it may be possible to reactivate your account during that time. No guarantees are made regarding the content of your site once it has been deactivated. Please see our Terms & Conditions for details.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Flavor Plate accepts all major credit and debit cards. Your card will be automatically charged on the same day each month for as long as you have your account. Payment by check is available when prepaying for a minimum of a 1 year subscription to Flavor Plate.

Does my account include website hosting?

Yes. Every Flavor Plate account includes web hosting provided by Amazon S3.

Does Flavor Plate offer email service?

The simple answer is no. However, we are happy to help you maintain the use of your current email service, or to assist you with choosing a new email provider if necessary.

Are there any white-label/reseller opportunities?

Currently, we do not have a white label or reseller program. Please contact us if you have questions about onboarding multiple accounts.
