Is Flavor Plate® right for my restaurant?

We like to think so, but we also know enough about design and marketing to realize that’s not always the case. You may have very specific needs, or may be facing some unique challenges, and sometimes the only solution is a custom design. However, if you want a solution that is easy to use, quick to set up, beautiful to look at, affordable, and has all of the key ingredients to manage a successful restaurant website, than yes, Flavor Plate is right for you.

Can I use my own web address?

Yes. By default, your Flavor Plate trial website will start as a sub-domain (ex. myrestaurant.flavorplate.com). You can continue using this sub-domain if you like, but more than likely, you’ll want to use your own web address (ex. www.myrestaurant.com). To do this, you’ll need to register your web address at one of the more popular online registrars (examples listed below). Once that’s established, simply contact us, and we’ll either take care of everything for you (free of charge), or we’ll provide you with the information necessary to make the changes yourself.

How do I sell gift cards and accept payments?

Flavor Plate seamlessly integrates with Stripe for accepting payments directly to your bank account. Simply sign up for an account with Stripe through your Flavor Plate admin, and begin accepting payments within minutes. Does Flavor Plate support multiple languages?

Our platform is currently available in English, only. Please check back as we are continually expanding our capabilities.

Is a mobile website included?

Yes. Every Flavor Plate website is responsively designed—assuring you that your website is optimized for all devices (desktop computers, tablets, smartphones, and everything in between).

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Our pricing and options are all listed on our Pricing & Services page. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What happens when my 14-day trial account expires?

When approaching the end your 14-day trial, you will receive a reminder email. To continue your service, simply log into Flavor Plate, click on the Account tab, and enter your credit card information on our secure server. If you elect not to subscribe to Flavor Plate, your site will be turned off. Your trial site will be saved for approximately 30 days and it may be possible to reactivate your account during that time. No guarantees are made regarding the content of your site once is has been deactivated. Please see our Terms & Conditions for details.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Flavor Plate accepts all major credit and debit cards. Your card will be automatically charged on the same day each month for as long as you have your account. Payment by check is available when prepaying for a minimum of a 1 year subscription to Flavor Plate.

Does my account include website hosting?

Yes. Every Flavor Plate account includes web hosting provided by Rackspace.

Does Flavor Plate offer email service?

The simple answer is no. However, some registrars offer email service along with the purchase of your web address. Regardless, we’re happy to help you maintain the use of your current email service, or help you set up a new email provider if necessary.

Are there any white-label/reseller opportunities?

Currently, we do not offer any sort of reseller program. However, we do have discounted pricing for customers with more than one website. Contact us for details.
